Of the several world-class attractions located in The Dubai Mall, the Dubai Ice Rink is the ultimate skating destination that one should experience at least once in their lifetime. It is situated next to the 21st century Gold Souq on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall.It accommodates skaters of varied skills and abilities, appealing to the young and old alike.
The Ice skating Dubai Mall is open for 7 days a week in the following timings
Sunday to Wednesday - 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Thursday to Saturday - 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM
Skating lessons for first-timers
Any sport can be daunting with no experience and without a coach. Dubai Ice Rink assists you with their team of friendly and highly experienced coaches. From 8 different countries, speaking 4 different languages each, and a combined experience of 30 years in the field, the coaches will help you with all that is needed to become a skating star.
The coaching fees start from AED190, last 90 minutes, and include free public skating. Each skating session includes snowfall, music, skate rental, complimentary socks, and locker hire.
Dubai Ice Rink Skating Academy (DIRSA)
Have you have fallen in love with the sport and wish to take it up as a sport or a long-term hobby? Starting at AED 840 per course, Dubai Ice Rink Skating Academy offers intensive skating courses every 8 weeks that are intended to help you polish and perfect your figure skating skills. For every group of 10, a dedication coach is assigned to guide you through your ups and downs. Assessments take place for half an hour every week.
You can book your weekly place either:
Every Tuesday or Thursday - evenings from 16:15
Every Friday or Saturday - mornings from 10:15
There are 8 different levels to reach mastery from Beginner to Freestyle. Signing up will give you numerous benefits starting with your personal SKATE passport, perform in a public ice dancing show, and others.
SKATE camp
Starting at AED 899 per student, Summer Skate Camp is an interactive course that runs for an hour every Sunday-Thursday morning at 10:15. Every class takes place in small groups depending on your kid's age and abilities. Each student will receive their own SKATE passport and logbooks that track their performance.

Hire the ice
Dubai Ice Rink is available outside of operational hours for hire/ rent for teams and individuals to practice skating. It is also the venue for UAE ice hockey teams and ice dancers.
Birthday Parties
Dubai Ice Rink is open for kids to celebrate their birthdays with their friends (minimum 10 guests required) and make it memorable. The package includes 90 minutes of skating time, skating aids, free admission for the celebrant, birthday announcement along with a song, all at the rate of AED130 per head.
School visits
This stand-alone program encourages school kids to set short-term goals with the help of specialized coaches. A booklet is given to students explaining the different skating levels and educating them on the world of science behind skating.
Dubai Ice Rink also offers add-on programs such as teaching the physics & science behind skating and takes kids behind the scenes to discover the ins & outs of how the rink operates.
Free Entry: One teacher per every 10 kids (4+ years), or 1 teacher per every 5 kids (under 4 years).
Duration of visit: 1 hour 45 minutes, with a 15-30-minute talk

Ticket prices
The ticket price varies depending on the Dubai Ice Rink session times and themes that you opt for.
Children under 100cm must be accompanied by an adult as long as they stay in the rink.
Children under 3 are considered an infant and their entry is free of cost.
Ice skating Dubai Mall prices are as follows:
During the off-peak time (early in the day or very late at night), the pricing for staying 90 minutes inside the rink is AED 85.
During peak hours,AED 110 is charged for the same duration.
On Thursday and Friday, during DJ nights (18:15-19:45, 20:15-21:45), the ticket price goes up to AED 125.
